Dr. Stuart has a long history of research interests, including in the areas of financial mathematics, agricultural economics, and sports analytics, for which he has applied a wide variety of statistical and machine learning methods, such as Bayesian statistics, quantile regression, and gradient descent to answer a wide variety of questions. He has worked with multiple collaborators, including his Ph.D. advisor Dr. Cindy Yu in the Department of Statistics and Dr. David A. Hennessy from the Department of Economics at Iowa State University, Dr. Lendie Follett from the Zimpleman College of Business at Drake University, and Dr. Steven Kou from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
Through the Center for Data Science and Consulting at Loyola University, Chicago, Dr. Stuart has had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple professors and students across the university on a wide variety of topics, including evolutionary biology with Dr. Yoel Stuart and the School of Environmental Sustainability with Dr. Brian Ohsowski and Shane Lishawa.
